Welcome
The Program in Latin American, Latinx, and Caribbean Studies (LALCS) is Emory's interdisciplinary hub for the study of the histories, cultures, politics, and contemporary realities of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Latinx communities in the United States.
Drawing on faculty expertise across the humanities and social sciences, LALCS offers a flexible undergraduate major and two undergraduate minors that students can tailor to their own intellectual and professional interests. Our curriculum encourages students to think across national and disciplinary boundaries, examining the connections that link the Americas
